Parent Teacher InterviewsYesterday our brass students were treated to a workshop with the UWA Conservatorium of Music ’s Chair of Brass and Music Education, Dr Paul De Cinque. His teaching role at the Conservatorium includes teaching in the trumpet studio, teaching classes in brass studies, aural skills and community music, as well as conducting the Wind Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, and Trumpet Choir.
Our students played through their Brass Ensemble repertoire, receiving feedback and guidance from Dr De Cinque, along with some helpful tips for developing their technique. Dr De Cinque also spoke with the students about future pathways, opportunities and doors that could be opened to them in the future as musicians. We thank UWA’s Conservatorium of Music for this valuable opportunity.
