
Principal
Mrs Leila Bothams
Leila is honoured to be appointed the foundation Principal of Harrisdale Senior High School.
Previously, Leila served as Principal of Rossmoyne Senior High School for 10 years, from 2006 to 2015. There were many highlights to her career at Rossmoyne. Among these were leading her school community to Independent Public School (IPS) status in the first IPS intake in 2010, and public acknowledgement of sustained excellence at Rossmoyne in a report on the school’s exemplary practices, published in 2015.
Leila’s educational leadership roles include Director of Schools for Canning, Principal of two rural Kindergarten-to-Year 10/12 schools, and Advisor to an overseas education development program. In 2016, she was selected to participate in the Independent Public Schools' Fellowship Program, a challenging program of leadership development run by the Department of Education in association with Harvard University. Leila's teaching background is in English and Literature.
Leila's goal is to work together with teachers and support staff, students, parents and the wider community to establish a culture of excellence at Harrisdale Senior High School.

Associate Principal
Ms Angie Thomas
Angie is delighted to be a member of Harrisdale Senior High School’s leadership team.
Angie comes from Rossmoyne Senior High School, where she served as Associate Principal for eight years. At Rossmoyne, Angie’s key responsibilities included, at various times, leadership of the Senior School, the Lower Secondary School, teacher professional learning, and pastoral care.
Previously, Angie served as a curriculum advisor, Deputy Principal and Acting Principal in the Mid-West and Goldfields. Her teaching background is in Science.
Angie enjoy's working collaboratively with the school community build the positive and productive learning environment that will enable students to enjoy a successful schooling experience at Harrisdale.

Manager Corporate Services
Mrs Danae Jolley
Danae came to Harrisdale’s foundation leadership team from Hamilton Senior High School, where she served as the Manager Corporate Services. She has a successful background in managing school business operations and a commitment to excellence in service delivery. Prior to joining the Department of Education, she worked for WA Police in corporate services.
A highlight of Danae’s career was being awarded a prestigious Department of Education scholarship to undertake further studies in business management at Deakin University (Vic).
Danae enjoy's working with the school community in ensuring that teachers and students are provided high quality programs and services. She thoroughly enjoys interacting with students and supporting them throughout their high school journey.
