Today our Year 7 Gifted and Talented students visit The Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research to provide them with a hands- on experience of bio-medical research. Students learnt how cells cooperate to make multicellular organisms and gained an understanding of the size and scale of the microscopic world!
Yesterday, our Year 11 Science students took part in a workshop incursion conducted by Murdoch University. Students participated in hands-on activities centred around Physics, Human Biology and Chemistry in preparation for their subjects next year. The day’s workshops involved the study of projectile motion, understanding components of the brain and brain health, and creating models of organic chemicals.
