Parent Teacher InterviewsOur Student Councillors and Peer Support Leaders have been selected to be involved in the zero2hero Chevron Compassionate Communities Program. This program consists of a series of workshops and activities that explore topics relevant to young people with the intention of accessing and cultivating compassionate systems and motivation. Compassion for oneself and for others is an increasingly vital emotional skill that can help us navigate some of the most difficult realities of being human. The program includes creating compassionate school communities, emotional regulation, improving self-talk & self-care, recognising struggle in friends, family & communities, and aligning decision-making to the personal value system. Students will design and present a compassion-based project at Harrisdale SHS in connection with the local community. We look forward to this project created by students for the community.
