We are the scholars of curiosity, and academic enrichment is available at every corner. We are champions that are bound for glory in every arena. Our culture supports growth and builds heroes that care, with a positive spirit that binds us together as one.
At Harrisdale Senior High School (SHS), our vision is to be a school of achievement, inspiring excellence everywhere. Our idea of excellence is not limited to the students enrolled in one of our many specialist academic, music, sports or languages programs, because we believe excellence can and should be inspired everywhere. We believe every student should be given the recognition, time and resources they need to reach their own personal potential and to find their own version of success.
At Harrisdale SHS, we acknowledge with deep respect the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which we learn, work, and reside – the Noongar people of the Whadjuk region. We recognise their enduring and invaluable connection to the land, water, and community. We pay tribute to Elders past, present, and emerging, as the voices of First Nations Australians.
We are proud to offer a variety of Specialist Programs designed for talented students, enabling them to elevate their learning and pursue their passions at an advanced level. These programs provide a challenging and enriching environment, fostering the development of skills and knowledge beyond the standard curriculum.
Harrisdale Senior High School is proud to be recognised as one of sixteen select schools in Western Australia delivering the Department of Education’s Gifted and Talented Selective program.
Our specialised academic pathway offers enriching, challenging opportunities that spark curiosity and foster advanced skills in critical thinking, inquiry, and problem solving—empowering students to go beyond the traditional classroom experience.
