Volunteers
Volunteers are those individuals who willingly give their time to fulfil a community service or assist either in a classroom setting or in other ways within the school without the expectation of remuneration. Volunteers provide wonderful support and assistance for specific school programs. Please keep a look-out on our website for volunteering requests and opportunities if you have the interest, availability and skills to assist.
National Police History Check
All education sector volunteers are required to obtain a National Police History Check. The principal of the school must complete the Volunteer Certification in the application package.
National Police History Check applications can be completed at the school and require 100 points of identification.
Working With Children Check
The Working with Children (WWC) Check is a compulsory criminal check for many people who work with children under the age of 18 in Western Australia. The principal of the school must sign the WWC application.
WWC application forms can be collected from the school or post office and require 100 points of identification.
The WWC Check is different and additional to the National Police History Check. In many cases, employees will require both checks.
