To allow a select number of year 8’s who demonstratedexceptional performance throughout their production and analysis of TV news toexperience a professional news studio

Your child has been selected to take a tour of Channel 9News Studios Perth as part of their media studies curriculum. Students are toattend their period one class as normal, upon the second period bell going,they will make their way to the PAC foyer where their attendance will bechecked by the supervising teacher. Upon the tour’s completion, they will begiven time to take a break and eat (food is not allowed during the tour). Theyare expected to arrive back at school by 2:50pm for a normal school departure.

Venue: Channel 9 Studios Perth, 253 St Georges Terrace,Perth WA. 

Transport: Students will be transported by bus to and from the venue.The bus may have seatbelts that students are required to wear. 

Food: Studentsare to bring their own lunch and water bottles for the day. 

Supervision:Harrisdale Senior High School Teachers will supervise for the day. Please alsonote that students are well aware that, as school representatives, theirparticipation is conditional on them showing appropriate classroom behaviourand wearing the correct school uniform this year. Please note, that you will beasked to collect your child from the event, should they misbehave.
