Excursion Organiser: Heidi Nickolai

Students participate in a program designed by the FrancisBurt Law Education Program. They will visit the Old Court House, Perth’s oldestbuilding, the District Court where they will view a court in session, and theSupreme Court. The students will then return to the Old Court House where theywill participate in a role play activity, reenacting a case from 1926 when aPerth woman stood trial for shooting dead her Fiancé on the dance floor ofGovernment House. Students will then catch a free bus to Kings Park for lunch,then walk to Parliament House for a tour of the State Parliament.
