TIC: Eve Russell

This Try-a-Trade course is designed to give students a tasteof the Estimating and Scheduling industry, exploring the key areas of thesefields. Estimators predict how much time, money, and resources a project willneed. They work in fields like construction, where they calculate costs forbuilding projects. Schedulers create project timelines and manage tasks. Theywork with project managers to define project goals and assign resources (likeworkers and materials). They also keep track of progress and adjust schedulesas needed. This program runs over the course of a two-day period (6-7th May)Each day is split into three/four sessions focusing on different areas of thetrade. Students are to wear their school/PE uniform, including closed in shoes.Students depart at 8:30 SHARP from the front of the school (near the big head,outside the main office), and will return by the end of the school day.Students can bring their own lunch, alternatively they can purchase lunch froma mobile food van located on site in the morning (van is available atapproximately 10:00am)
