Parent Teacher InterviewsToday, Harrisdale SHS Year 8, 9, and 10 students attended a presentation by former Police Officer, Kristi McVee from Safe on Social – Western Australia. Kristi spoke to the students about online safety, promoting positive skills, attitudes and behaviours for online interactions.
The session helps raise awareness around the dangers of technology and sharing content online, covering social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, to name a few. Students were presented with relatable situations they may encounter and examples of how they can protect themselves online.
